The Bachelor of Archaeology, History of the Arts and Cultural Heritage Sciences is divided into four curricula (archaeology, art-history, economics-management, film-music-performance), with a very solid common base in the main humanities subjects provided for by the ministerial board. It aims to train graduates who are familiar with cultural heritage, considered in its diachronic course, from antiquity to the contemporary age, and in its different valences (methodological, historical, material, formal, content, conservation and management). In particular, graduates should be equipped with: - an adequate spectrum of historical-philological knowledge in the fields of archaeological, historical-artistic, economic-managerial, musical and performing arts heritage, by reason of the curriculum chosen at the time of matriculation; - an adequate general cultural training in the humanities, with particular regard to the history and development of Italian and ancient literature, based on the use of up-to-date didactic and bibliographical tools. Graduates, moreover, should acquire skills of analysis and interpretation of phenomena, as well as communicative skills in their presentation, discussion and exploitation. The degree course provides an adequate number of credits for internships and stages, with professionalizing purposes, at local authorities, public institutions, professional organizations working in the field of protection, conservation and enhancement of cultural heritage. The graduate in Archaeology, History of Arts and Cultural Heritage Sciences should have a discrete knowledge of at least one language of the European Union, in addition to Italian, and should be able to use the main computer tools for data management and telematic communication in the specific areas of competence.
