I love facilitating conversations by helping people overcome the language and culture barriers that come with traveling. Due to my background, I speak English, Japanese, Chinese, and German fluently. I am based in Osaka and Kyoto but can travel anywhere within Japan. Transportation costs are to be paid in cash during meeting.

As a half-German and half-Chinese, I grew up in China while attending an international school. After studying law in the UK, I came to Japan for a working holiday in 2016 and ended up staying here for good. Even as a child, I was constantly in a multi-lingual environment where I acted as an interpreter for both language and culture. It always brought me immense joy when two people who didn't speak the same language could suddenly communicate through me. I have the following professional interpretation experience: 1. Business Japanese: 6 years working for a Japanese company where only Japanese is spoken 2. Business Chinese/German: 2 month internship at the State of Bavaria (China Office) where I escorted various foreign delegations while interpreting casual conversations, business meetings, conference presentations, etc. 3. Business Chinese/English: 6 month work at a bilingual company in Beijing As proof of my language abilities, I have passed the following language proficiency exams: - Japanese: JLPT N1 - Chinese: HSK Level 6 and Speaking (Advanced) I am based in Kyoto but can travel anywhere within Japan, as long as the transportation and accommodation costs are covered by the client.
