My working languages are French/English mother tongue and Spanish as a passive. As an Interpreter / Translator & Proofreader, and Intercultural Specialist (very knowledgeable of French-speaking Africa), I enjoy putting my expertise and experience to the service of people in international environments.

As a freelance translator and liaison interpreter for approximately ten years, I then trained to become a Conference Interpreter and find this challenge very fulfilling. I also thrive in intercultural and international environments. My mixed background led me to master both English and French perfectly, and acquire an excellent level in Spanish, but it was experimenting with theatre and the arts that initially fostered my special interest in literature and tongues. I have also worked as an English Teacher for many years, and use my acting skills to facilitate communication. My teaching experience has helped me enhance my public speaking skills, learn to be articulate, express myself clearly, and provided me with the capacity to feel comfortable in front of an audience. My varied professional experience has afforded me a well-rounded set of skills, including first rate efficiency and accuracy. As an in-house employee at the Embassy of the United States in Libreville and the Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne I learned how to deal with tight deadlines as well as high pressure. Since I started working as a Freelance Interpreter/Translator/Proofreader/Editor for diverse institutions and organisations, I have been confronted to an array of different topics and approach each new assignment as an exciting opportunity to discover and learn. I am a dynamic person who has a good team spirit, a thirst for learning, true motivation, and is capable of integrating any working environment. My personal qualities also include professionalism, an excellent sense of organization and responsibility, and considerable adaptability.
