I am a trained translator and interpreter of Russian, English and Spanish with a Specialist Degree (5 years of university) and over 13 years of experience in the field. For many years, I worked both as a staff and as a freelance translator and interpreter, but since 2018 I am a full-time Moscow-based freelancer. My experience encompasses a very wide range of subjects, with my main specialization being International Relations, Mass Media, Broadcast Journalism, Documentary, Cinema, Tourism, Education, Art & Culture. I often translate educational master-classes, business negotiations, participate in international events (such as film festivals, biennales, exhibitions, etc.). As a translator and broadcast journalist for the RT News Network, for 8 years I provided simultaneous translation of heads of state and ministers, then moved on to the MFA of Russia and such international organizations as the UN. I also have experience as a tour guide for foreign visitors, locally in Moscow and internationally (my most exciting journey so far was along the Trans-Siberian Railway from Moscow to Beijing with English- and Spanish-speaking groups of tourists from all over the world). I love interpreting as much as translation, so I also translate all types of texts from Russian into English and Spanish and vice versa. I have translated 4 non-ficiton books from English into Russian for the Russian publishing house EKSMO. Since 2008, I collaborate with the Moscow International Film Festival translating subtitles of feature films, as well as interpreting press-conferences, film presentations, Q&A sessions and jury meetings (Russian, English and Spanish).
