I specialise in interpreting in civil and criminal law and have extensive experience as a liaison interpreter in various fields (construction, trade, finance). I have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter for several years. My affinity for languages was fostered early on, as I was brought up bilingual German-Russian. Until I was 17, I lived in Russia and visited Austria regularly because I have relatives here. I also attended school in Germany, which helped me to improve my language skills. My field of study was immediately clear to me and in 2016 I enrolled at the University of Vienna. Three years later, I received my Bachelor's degree in Transcultural Communication. I was able to gain my first practical experience during my internship as an interpreter/translator assistant for a lawyer in Vienna and while working in a legal association. My main activity here was translating specialist texts in the field of civil and criminal law from German into Russian and from Russian into German, as well as interpreting during negotiations with Russian clients. I am currently planning to obtain a certificate as a court interpreter. At the same time, I have always taken orders mainly from Russian clients who have needed my language assistance in a wide variety of areas. I specialise in areas such as the leather industry, construction, trade, hunting and finance. So I have signed contracts with some companies in Russia. I am currently studying for a Master's degree in "Interpreting for Courts and Authorities".
