Nine years' experience in aviation communications dealing with Mexican and American pilots, ATC and aviation authorities. I provide language training, translation and interpretation services for aviation professionals. Prior job assignments included interpretation in business meetings for project management and the construction industry.

Native speaker of Spanish with native-like proficiency in English. Excellent writing and typing skills in English and Spanish and possessing extensive technical vocabulary in both languages (great simultaneous interpretation skills and overall translation skills). For the last nine years I've been specializing in aviation communications. Prior to that, I spent 3-4 years in the editorial and news industry as a translator working as both freelancer and staff for travel and sports magazines and for an international news agency as well. Before that, I was hired as a fully bilingual language specialist for two construction projects with tasks that ranged from translating project-related documents, document transmittals, drawings, etc. to providing interpretation services onsite, during meetings, etc. and did lots of consecutive and simultaneous interpretation. I am proud to say that my language endeavors helped owners, contractors, and all other players involved understand technical difficulties throughout the project as well as provide solutions. One such project was several buildings' expansion at an automotive plant; the other at a thermoelectric power plant. English was the lingua franca in both projects.
