I am an Italian postgraduate student pursuing my Master's Degree in Specialized Translation and Conference Interpreting in English and French at the Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators (SSLMIT) of Trieste.
My experience is based on the translation of different text typologies, legal, general, literary, tourist, scientific-technical, texts based on technology and economics. My University has taught me how to approach a text before translating it as well as organising the amount of time available in order to translate a text properly. The SSLMIT has given me the chance to learn how to work with new translation technologies, such as SDL Trados. I am convinced that a work experience is fundamental for developing personal and professional skills. I enjoy working in a team environment, I am versatile and hardworking and I believe I am a valuable candidate.
