I had the privilege of working with immigrants from different cross-cultural diverse backgrounds. While being in USA. I was able to learn the different jargon and nuances of the different Latino-american countries I had the chance to interpret. This interpreting work was an every-day job. I have excellent communication skills.

I hold skills in the communication field. I am a Spanish-English Translator and Interpreter schooled at Boston Massachusetts, U.S.A. My specialty is in the simultaneous field of interpreting. My strongest points are spoken and written English. Combined to these two important points of knowledge, we can add the involvement in the mining field of translation which I acquired while working for the Indio Mining Co., back in 1988 to 1991 at Minas Tambo, (before moving to the United States), where I worked as an English professor and translator of text books on mining processes, such as heap-leaching, shrinkage works, blasting and drilling techniques. While being in the United States I was involved in the medical and general field of Translation and interpreting. I directed a program titled “Cross-Cultural Diversity in Health and Illness”, to teach new Medical Physicians how to work with Latino-American patients. Also, I have a wide experience in teaching in the area of pronunciation and phonetics of the English language covering areas of accent reduction, a program designed for immigrants in the United States. Furthermore, I taught English at Cambridge College (Medical Interpreting Training Program MITP)for would-be medical Interpreters in Boston, U.S.A. In addition, I tailored, implemented and launched an ESL Program at Higher Education Resource Center (HERC) in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. I lived and worked in Boston, Massachusetts for 22 years. By being immersed in the mainstream for so long time; I was able to get experience, proficiency and knowledge in the language which is shown in detail below as follows:
