I am an interpreter (simultaneous and consecutive) with 12 years of experience during which I attended various types of events such as: medical fairs and conferences, business negotiations, document signing in front of the notary public, legal matrimony, new company headquarters opening conference.

My name is Roxana, I am Romanian, but currently based in Barcelona. I attended one of the best interpreting schools in the country - the Faculty of Letters of the Cluj-Napoca “Babes-Bolyai” University. A few years later, I went to Milan for a specialization in the medical and pharmaceutical translation field. I have 12 years’ experience in consecutive and simultaneous interpretation in a multitude of fields. I attended numerous medical fairs where I helped an Italian dentist promote his invention, conferences organized by the city hall of my hometown on public transportation, pollution, financing. I also assisted businessmen from many different nations during negotiations, company visits, audits. A lot of couples requested my services for interpretation at the city hall for their legal matrimony. One of my favourite events was a week-long identikit conference held by one of the best American sketch artists working with the police, but I am also fascinated about specialized fairs – the devices, the technological progress, the bright people presenting them. I am very passionate about this profession because it is very dynamic, it offers me constant opportunities to learn more about the various fields of the events I attend, but also to meet new and interesting people. I live in Barcelona, but I am available for travelling to other locations.
