I am a telecommunication engineer native in both English and Portuguese with excellent communication skills, having been working as an ESL teacher, translator, and an interpreter. At the telecommunications field, I have worked as a PROJECT MANAGER for international companies both in Brazil and abroad for quite a long time. I worked for many carriers and international roaming in English. As AN INTERPRETER I started interpreting when I was just 12 years old. I have worked for over 15 years for the South Carolina Southern Baptist Convention interpreting many crusades in Brazil. I have also worked as an interpreter for the DeHoney Crusades (1982, 1983, 1985) and many others. As A TRANSLATOR I have been working since 2003 as both a consultant in many Brazilian companies helping professionals with specific terms of their field (engineering, administration, Laws, Medicine, etc.) as well as translating from English to Portuguese and vise-versa. In 2015 I have translated into English the biography of famous musician, composer, and visual artist Guilherme Vaz who has exposed his work in Rio’s CCBB this year. Still in this year of 2016, I have just finished translated a gastronomic book about Rio de Janeiro’s cuisine and worked as a liaison for the USOC and Brazilian law enforcement. I have been an English teacher for over twenty years and I taught advanced English and technical terms to engineers and lawyers, administrators, etc. I have prepared students for the IELTS resulting in great scores.
