Hello. I could do technical translations (language pairs: English to Russian and English to Ukrainian – in one direction). I have technical education (engineer). I studied English myself. Many technical documentation I read in my life and knowledge of English on past workplaces helped me to be a good specialist. Translating on general thematic can do any translator, but my force just in technically correct technical translations because all my life I am working as engineer-programmer, by education I am engineer-electrician and at past, when PC weren’t so common I was radio-amateur-constructor. Having Hi-Technical education in the University, we studied mechanics, metrology and other. I co-worked with Ukrainian translation agency and they send me manual with requirements to wrote translations, so making wrote translations I can on required professional level. Thematic of translations: • Manufacture/Home equipment; • IT; • Electro-technical; • Radio-technical; • I think, I could Mechanics; • Some time ago made – Chemistry; For example, if technical documentation in pdf-format, I know Adobe Acrobat (don’t mistake with Acrobat Reader). If technical documentations are in hard-copy you can send me Photo of its pages, made with Hi-Resolution Camera (not necessary to scan document). In the future I think, I could translate technical drawings of AutoCAD or other CAD-systems, makeup layout in MS Word, MS Visio, Adobe PageMaker/InDesign. Could make not complicated design in Adobe PhotoShop and Corel Draw.
