As a journalist I have good communication skills, specially because I have mostly worked in international environments, which gave more insight for different ways of communicating. Althtough I have mostly made journalism for Portuguese-speaking countries in Africa, environmental issues and tourism in Portugal are also my subjects.

I am a private interpreter/translator, working in Lisbon and Algarve with the following language pairs: English-Portuguese, Portuguese-English and German – Portuguese. I have BA degree in English and German languages and have worked and lived in Germany for 6 years. My second degree (BA) is in Communication, Journalism and Information Technologies. I translate for different media as a freelancer, such as Deutsche Welle (current affairs in Africa), Global Voices (social issues in the world), local media in Algarve (environment and tourism). I have operated as an interpreter for journalism trainings in Germany for different news rooms. In Portugal, as I have strong interest in the work of social movements, I also translate for organizations working in this area which require my services.
