Over 25 years experience in public and private interpretation and translation contexts in various countries of South America including Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, etc. Plus 12 years in USA in medical & human services fields.

I am adept in all types of public and private interpretation and translation contexts. I have experience interpreting for hearings and depositions, for psychological and medical evaluations, for Law Enforcement, Victim Services, Human Services, and school meetings and conferences. I have experience working with attorneys and investigators. I also have experience working with private sector clients and companies, including translation of personal documents and interpreting in an informal setting. Just before leaving for Chile I took and passed the written exam for National Medical Interpreter Certification in the US. I have also had many hours of professional medical interpreter training. What I can offer is a wide variety of interpreting skills in any number of different settings. I am also able to assist in proofreading translations from Spanish to English. I have also done a fair amount of phone interpreting of all shades and colors. Through Skype it is very easy to do conference calls and interpret for two or more parties. I do this on a regular basis for one client from my office here in Chile & even on my mobile phone out in the middle of farmland in the countryside.
