I am a professional private interpreter and translator, working with Spanish<>English, Spanish<>French and English<>French in Mexico City and occasionally in other cities. I have a BA degree from Instituto Superior de Intérpretes y Traductores and a Post-graduate degree in Comparative Law. I provide interpretation at business meetings, seminars, international and domestic conferences, presentations, press conferences, exhibitions, in-house visits, machine-training, and as an escort interpreter. I have considerable experience in the field of migration law, energy, and film, but have worked in other relevant areas. For the past year I have worked at an NGO which assists migrants and refugees as an interpreter and translator. I had always wanted to work as an interpreter ever since I spent some time in England as a child and later on in France when I was a teenager. Both experiences gave me a different view of the world and have shaped the way I want to live and interpretation is a big part of that. Thanks to my job I have met the most wonderful and interesting people in my life and I have learned a great deal about subjects I never thought I could. it has also given me the freedom to explore other creative skills and the joy of building bridges between cultures. Whether I am explaining to an engineer how a machine works, or accompanying migrants to doctor appointments, I always feel useful and thankful I get to be a part of connecting the world.
